World Photography Day is all about remembering how truly special a photograph can be. Today, we take our cameras for granted and a photograph is nothing new. But next time you’re taking a trip down memory lane, remember that there was once a time when photography didn’t exist. A time when those precious moments could not be captured, uploaded and shared.

If you love photography, join us to celebrate World Photography Day.
Adjacent to the Qutub Minar Complex is the magnificent Mehrauli Archaeological Park, which hides more than 80 historical marvels built within a span of 1000 years starting from Prithvi Raj Chauhan and Balban to the late British era.
This is a unique place where you get to see creation from almost every dynasty that ruled from Delhi. It has two Baolis, ruins of an ancient city, several preserved tombs and mosques, caravan Sarais, canopies, British Out-house, bridges, and wall ruins. It has lush green lawns and a densely forested portion. The location is ideal for photographers as it gives a different view from every corner. With its huge perimeter, over 100 photographers can easily click without interfering with anyone’s frame. At every location, we will invite a senior member from the group to guide us about photography

{IMPORTANT UPDATE} : We have agreed for a potpourri where everyone is requested to bring his own snacks/lunch. You can carry some sandwiches/rolls or similar fast food. Please ensure that you also bring your water or other drink. We will arrange for paper plates, glasses and garbage bags though.

It is very difficult to arrange food and beverages in that area for such a huge gathering. Looking forward to your kind support!!

How to Reach

1. Coming from Gurgaon/Andheria Mor: Come on MG road and cross Qutub Minar Metro Station. 650 mts. ahead of the station on MG Road, you will find a small road going inside a DDA Park (You can recognize the park by its standard DDA Green Board telling you not to cook food and bring dog and play cricket and blah blah blah) 2. Then start following step Come straight inside the park and reach an open area next to “jamali kamali tomb”. Park your vehicle there.
