Na‘tiyya Musha‘ra was organized at Darul Huda Punganur, featuring distinguished poets from various parts of the country. The event aimed to promote Urdu literary expression and devotion through Na‘t poetry in praise of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Among the eminent participants were Dr. Vasiyullah Bukhtiyari, Head of the Urdu Department at Government Boys Degree College, Kadapa; Dr. Naqiullah Khan, Headmaster of Government High School, Mahal, Chittoor District; and Maulana Muhammad Tanveer Shams, Imam and Khateeb of Masjid-e-Noorul Huda, Punganur.
The Musha‘ra also featured notable contributions from celebrated poets including Shafeeq Abidi, Shaikh Habeeb Banglori, Jameel Akhtar Banarasi, Taqiullah Khan, Anhar Saoodi, Hashim Taleeq, Anwar Qadri, and Hasan Ali Khan, whose eloquent verses captivated the audience.
The institution’s own Lecturer, Shaikh Saifullah Rahi, and student, Mohammed Raza, also presented their compositions, adding a local dimension to the literary gathering.
The four-hour-long session was marked by profound poetic expression and emotional depth, offering the audience a spiritual journey through words and rhythm. The program concluded with appreciation for all poets who contributed to the evening’s success and to the enrichment of Urdu Na‘tiyya literature.
